I was too thrilled when I discovered a comic strip by a sistuh, for sistuhs and about sistuhs. Now that is something awesome! We are such a creative people. Afterall, who better to write about and illustrate the lives of African Americans than another African American? Who can find the humor in fryin-dying-and-layin-to-da-side our hair better than someone who has come into awareness of self and our natural cultural beauty.
