My sons and granddaughter...
My friend, consultant and mentor, Gigi who taught me the Bantu Knot technique, the results of her beautiful style and my locks in these photos. Thank you, my friend! (More on the Bantu Knots in an upcoming post.)
And my beautiful sister Teresa, who is well on her way to recovery, despite the gloomy outcome the physicians were predicting after a 7.5 hour surgery to remove a large cancerous tumor. With or without hair - she remains a regal, beautiful queen. Seeing her smile, hearing her laughter and being with all of my family made this one of the best Mother's Days ever!
A heartfelt thank you to all of you who emailed, prayed and lifted me, T and my family during this time. A special thank you to my prayer warrior clients - Marsha, Darlene, Roberta, Monica and Shawna.

Your family is beautiful, including your granddaughter (or is it niece?). Anyhow, I am so happy to learn that your sister is doing well. I will keep her in my prayers. Much love to you!
