Leighann, inquired about how I achieved this style. This is actually a two-day-old-bendable roller set. (I'm still not freestyling yet y'all. I've tried it and my hair is a hot mess after it dries! lol). This style works for me and my professional environment. On this particular day, which was a Saturday, I slept on it the night before. I put in some bendalble rollers for an hour or two while I was cleaning and cooking, preparing for my familiy's arrival. I showered with the rollers covered by a shower cap. Took the rollers out and I have a lot of body after that. My hair has historically reacted this way. Once I get a set, it usually last a few days. I can put in some rollers and the steam from the shower and it revitalizes the look. My hair is just particular in that way. I hope this helps.
