I'm often asked about the color of my locks. I use Dark & Lovely "Brown Sugar" or Softsheen-Carson "Brazen Bronze." These colors give me the soft brown color I was seeking without too much of a red tint. I colored one week before locking and haven't added color since. 
I'm getting kinda color hungry though. I was supposed to get color this past week, but I only had time for 
a desperately needed retightening and trim. Next time, GiGi! (She's finally consented to adding some color for me.)In this pic, my locks really look like locks. What did I expect, huh? I was just messin around pinning it up (with whatever color clips I could find) before a shower. Pretty cool. I can't believe I'm locked! Man, this has been and is the nicest, most fulfilling hair journey ever and it just keeps gettin' betta...I love me some Sisterlocks.

I use Hi-Rez! LOVE it. Make sure you have an extra package of your color on hand...but don't use it, lol. I only re-color the new growth and then super condition!

OK, now I officially have hair envy... fully locked and stylin in 9 months -- Woo Hoo!! Looking Good. Thanks for the info re: the hair color.
