My Sister, T's Update...

Those of you who have followed my blog for awhile know that my baby sis and best friend, Theresa, "T" has battled breast cancer for the past six years.  New readers, see my June 1, 2006 post.

Please assist my family in honoring this Queen.  Click here to read T's story and pass on to others in your contact lists.

With love,

This story is so touching. Your sister T, remains an inspiration to us all. I am so very sorry that your family had to go through this. May this experience serve to bring you guys even closer together. Your family are in my prayers. God bless you. Stay strong Blaqkofi. Love you always.

Hey blaq! I am a twelve year old girl who is considering getting sisterlocks. I know that when you do get them, they won't look as matured and long as yours do, but that is what i am hoping for. I am Nigerian and Ivorian (West African) and my hair is not too course but very full.My hair length is at the nape of my neck. I have been doing single braids ever since i was five. They didnt damage my hair too much. I would like to have my hair grow longer; at least past my shoulders.I leave the braids in for 2 moths and they usually grow 3 inches. They arent expensive because my mother does them for me. How long do you think it will take for my hair to grow past my shoulders. And do you think it is a good idea for me to get sisterlocks. I am afraid to because i dislike how open your scalp will look for the next couple of months.
